Councilwoman Dr. Adriana Rocha Garcia and the San Antonio Bexar County Complete Count Committee will partner with Methodist Healthcare Ministries, League of United Latin American Citizens District 15, and the U.S. Census Burea for the District 4 Neighborhood Census Caravan. Several community and civic organizations and special guests, Destiny and Rigo Navaira, will participate in this event to help promote participation in the Census 2020.
WHEN: Saturday, August 29, 2020, 9 – 11 a.m.
WHERE: Wesley Health & Wellness Center, 1406 Fitch St., San Antonio, TX, 78211.
The starting and ending point for the caravan route is at the Wesley Health & Wellness Center and the caravan will begin at 10 a.m. Other neighborhoods included in the route are Tierra Linda and the South San/Quintana Community. For more information, please call (210) 207-0890.
The U.S. Census Bureau is knocking on doors in San Antonio/Bexar County to collect data from households that have not responded on their own. Census takers will wear masks and follow local public health guidelines when they visit each home. If no one is home when the census taker visits, they will leave a notice of their visit with information on how to respond online or by phone or by mail.
