Female Executives of Texas (FETX) has announced the return of its highly anticipated Business Building Cohort in San Antonio for 2026. The free six-week entrepreneurial program is designed to help women of color gain the tools, strategy, and confidence needed to build sustainable businesses and grow their ideas into action.
Presented by Live From The Southside Magazine, the 2026 San Antonio cohort begins Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. and will continue every Thursday for six consecutive weeks. The application-based program will accept up to 25 women entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners who are ready to strengthen their business foundations and take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey.
The Business Building Cohort was created to address the growing need for accessible business education, accountability, and support systems for women of color navigating entrepreneurship. Through guided sessions, networking opportunities, and collaborative learning experiences, participants will gain practical knowledge while building meaningful connections with fellow entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
“This cohort is about giving women structure, strategy, and sisterhood,” said Morgan Taplin, Founder of Female Executives of Texas. “Too many women have the vision but lack access to consistent guidance and community. We wanted to create a space where women can build confidently while learning from leaders and professionals who genuinely want to see them succeed.”
Over the course of six weeks, participants will engage in focused sessions covering topics essential to business growth and sustainability, including marketing and branding, legal business setup, financial management, systems and organization, sales strategies, and business visibility. The program will conclude with a graduation and celebration recognizing the accomplishments of the cohort participants.

Participants will also benefit from guest speakers, business-building exercises, mentorship opportunities, and community support to help them develop actionable plans for long-term success.
