San Antonio Latino Leaders to Take the Stage at RevTour 2025 in San Antonio

RevTour 2025 is coming to San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at The Espee, bringing one of the largest Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations to the city. While the nationwide tour spotlights Latino excellence, the San Antonio stop will shine brightly on local voices, leaders, and changemakers who are making a difference in our community.

San Antonio’s Inspiring Voices at RevTour 2025

This year’s Voices Unleashed Panel, moderated by award-winning entrepreneur and publisher April Monterrosa of Live From The Southside magazine and radio personality on KLMO 98.9 FM, will showcase some of San Antonio’s most dynamic voices from business, law, media, and the arts; honored by the Texas Legislature and recipient of the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Monterrosa is dedicated to amplifying local stories, connecting communities, and fostering opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Allegra Rodriguez — Miss Texas Latina

From arriving in the U.S. alone at age 12 to becoming a triple-degree aviation professional, Allegra’s story is one of courage and perseverance. She is an aircraft technician for one of the world’s largest aviation companies, an aspiring pilot, a successful model, and the owner of Allebrijes Accessories. Through her children’s book, Barbara’s Adventures, and youth flight simulator training, she inspires young Latinas to dream big and take flight—literally and figuratively.

Michelle Cantu — Comedian & Speaker

Known for her comedic platform @thecorporatechingona, Michelle blends humor with empowerment, offering both laughs and life lessons for Latinas navigating professional spaces. Born and raised in West San Antonio’s Edgewood district, she brings her unique perspective and cultural pride to every performance.

Desi I. Martinez — Award-Winning Trial Lawyer & Advocate

Founder of Martinez & Associates PLLC, Desi is known for taking on “unwinnable” cases and advocating for underserved clients. His work extends beyond the courtroom—mentoring youth, supporting homeless outreach, and even promoting local boxing events to uplift the next generation. His roots in San Antonio’s Southside shape his passion for community service and justice.

RJ Marquez — KSAT 12 Reporter & Anchor

As co-anchor for Good Morning San Antonio, RJ has become a trusted voice for the city. He covers everything from major breaking news to Fiesta traditions, always bringing heart and authenticity to his reporting. A native Texan, RJ is dedicated to telling stories that reflect the soul of San Antonio.

Mireya Villarreal — ABC News National Correspondent

Born in the Rio Grande Valley and deeply connected to South Texas, Mireya has reported on some of the nation’s most pressing stories, from the Uvalde school shooting to in-depth investigations on immigration and climate issues. She’s an award-winning journalist who proudly represents her Hispanic heritage on a national stage.

Event Highlights Beyond the Panel

In the evening, Noche de Fuego will bring stand-up comedy from Mark Viera, Michelle Cantu, and Jose Maestas, plus a vibrant folklórico dance performance.
