Today is National Avocado day. Who doesn’t love avocados? Avocados are known as a “good fat” since they contain omega-3 fatty acids. Those fatty acids keep the skin youthful and plump along with the anti-aging vitamin c and e combination avocados have.

Hair Conditioning Treatment

In a bowl, smash and mix 1 peeled avocado, 1 egg yolk, and ½ teaspoon olive oil Apply to the hair focusing on your dry ends. Leave in your hair from 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and condition. Hair should be shiny and manageable.

Hand Softening Treatment

In a bowl, smash and mix ¼ of a peeled avocado, 1 egg white, 2 or 3 tablespoons of oatmeal, and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Work the mixture on your hands and let it stay on for about 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and dry hands. Hands will fell soft and smooth.

Face Masque

Smash up half of a peeled avocado and spread in on your clean face, avoiding your eyelids. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, rinse with warm water, and pat dry skin. This is perfect for extremely dry skin and crepiness around the eyes.
