For the Fin Addict Angler Foundation, fishing is more than a pastime-it is a vital bridge connecting communities to the natural world. On Saturday, March 21, 2026, the foundation invites you to the 8th Annual Dinner & Auction Benefit. This event will be held at the San Antonio Food Bank’s Harvey E. Najim Children’s Pavilion. There, you can celebrate a mission that has transformed local conservation efforts.
The foundation’s core Mission Statement is clear: to organize and conduct fishing clinics, promote angler education, and foster fishing knowledge and skills. Moreover, it seeks to reinforce the importance of stewardship and outdoor ethics. By hosting free clinics for youth, seniors, and veterans, the organization fosters a deep respect for water as one of our most precious natural resources.
The Heart of Fin Addict Angler is guided by values and vision. It aims to be the connecting force between people of all ages and the outdoors through sustainable aquatic experiences. This vision is supported by the core values of inclusion, community wellness, and education.

Engage, educate, and empower are the pillars of the Fin Addict Angler Foundation’s mission to benefit participants by fostering well-being and independence. These pillars serve as a framework for their community outreach and educational programs.
Educate: Focuses on stewardship, aquatic safety, and basic fishing skills. It brings local youth into the environment to see the direct impact of their actions.
Engage: Involves participants through small-group, hands-on experiences. For example, it teaches everything from basic casting and safety to advanced conservation ethics.
Empower: Encourages children and families to use their new knowledge, continue learning, and teach others. This builds self-esteem and independence through the patience and determination required for the “catch.”
