Tejas Rodeo Company Expanded Guest Experience with Major 2026 Enhancements

Tejas Rodeo Company expanded its guest experience for the 2026 season with a series of major improvements designed to enhance one of the Texas Hill Country‘s premier Western entertainment destinations.

Located in Bulverde, just north of San Antonio, Tejas Rodeo Company celebrated its 21st season by unveiling new attractions, expanded amenities, and upgraded facilities while continuing its tradition of offering an authentic Texas rodeo experience. The destination remained known for its Saturday Night Rodeo, live country music, dancing, shopping, and dining at Tejas Steakhouse & Saloon.

The property increased arena capacity by adding 300 new seats, allowing more guests to enjoy professional rodeo action throughout the season. To elevate premium experiences, Tejas also introduced the new Silver Spur Suite, an exclusive hospitality space featuring 30 reserved arena seats, appetizers, and a hosted bar located directly across from the bucking chutes. The suite was designed for corporate gatherings, private parties, and special celebrations.

Guests also benefited from several property improvements, including a fully renovated concessions area with additional service windows, an expanded food menu, and larger restroom facilities to accommodate growing attendance.

One of the season’s biggest additions was the opening of the new Tejas Company Store. The reimagined retail space transformed what was once a small souvenir shop into a full Western boutique offering boots, hats, apparel, accessories, and exclusive Tejas merchandise. Visitors could shop well-known brands, including Stetson, Wrangler, R. Watson, Ariat, and Charlie 1 Horse, as well as unique items exclusive to the store.

The Company Store also introduced a custom hat branding bar, giving guests the opportunity to personalize their hats and take home a one-of-a-kind keepsake from their visit.

Tejas Steakhouse & Saloon continued to serve as a destination in its own right, featuring premium hand-cut Akaushi KC steaks, craft cocktails, and cowboy-inspired cuisine. The restaurant remained open year-round, Thursday through Sunday.

President and COO Lindsay Holliday said the new store had been years in the making and was inspired by guest feedback requesting more Western apparel and accessories.

“We had talked about opening a Western boutique for several years, and more recently we started hearing more and more from guests asking if we sold boots, hats, and other Western pieces,” Holliday said. “It felt like the right time to listen to our guests and act on something we had dreamed about for a long time.”

CFO Becca Roach said guests’ response had exceeded expectations, noting that the new shopping experience offered something for everyone visiting the property.

Beyond its weekly rodeo performances, Tejas Rodeo Company continued to expand as a destination for private events, corporate outings, conventions, and group experiences. Organizations could enjoy customized Western-themed events featuring private rodeos, mechanical bull riding, live music, line dancing, and other authentic Texas activities.

Holliday said the property’s continued growth remained focused on preserving Texas traditions while creating memorable experiences for families, visitors, and groups.

With expanded seating, premium hospitality options, upgraded amenities, and a significantly enhanced retail experience, Tejas Rodeo Company further strengthened its reputation as one of the San Antonio area’s top destinations for authentic Texas entertainment.
