URBAN-15 is proud to announce a special collaboration with the San Antonio Film Commission for this year’s in-person 2025 Josiah Media Festival “Locals Only” Screening, a celebration of films created by filmmakers from across the San Antonio area.

This community-focused event highlights a curated collection of films submitted to the 2025 Josiah Media Festival by local filmmakers, spotlighting San Antonio voices, stories, and creative talent. Designed to inspire, connect, and educate, the event offers both a film screening and a free networking opportunity for filmmakers of all ages and experience levels.

This curated screening will be emceed by Amalia Ortiz, Say Sí Theater Arts Director and founder and frontwoman of Las Hijas de La Madre. The program will:

  • Provide insight into the creative process through discussion and Q&A

  • Create an inclusive space celebrating storytelling, culture, and community.
