Cosmic cowboy legend Gary P. Nunn is set to headline the Texas Country Music Cruise, a premier music experience sailing from Galveston, Texas, on November 2-9, 2025, aboard Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas. Fans of Texas country music will not want to miss this incredible voyage, combining live performances from some of the biggest names in Texas country music with the luxury of one of the world’s most spectacular cruise ships.
A Texas-sized Music Experience at Sea
Unlike many music cruises, the Texas Country Music Cruise offers full-band concerts and intimate acoustic performances in stunning venues, including Studio B, home to the largest dance floor at sea and the majestic Royal Theater. Guests will enjoy all of Royal Caribbean’s top-tier entertainment, from Cirque du Soleil-inspired Aqua Theater performances to Broadway-caliber musicals, comedy acts, and dazzling ice-skating shows.
The Harmony of the Seas is the largest cruise ship to ever sail from Texas, featuring a variety of world-class amenities. With 20 dining options, 16 bars and lounges, and 18 decks of nonstop entertainment, there is something for everyone.
The cruise will visit breathtaking destinations, including Roatán, Honduras, known for its white-sand beaches and stunning coral reefs. In Costa Maya, Mexico, travelers can experience rich Mayan culture and turquoise waters. The final stop in Cozumel, Mexico, offers lively music, historical charm, and incredible coastal beauty.
Star-Studded Lineup
Alongside Gary P. Nunn, who wrote the iconic Austin City Limits theme “London Homesick Blues,” an all-star lineup of Lone Star talent will bring the best of Texas country, Red Dirt, and Americana to fans at sea. Bart Crow, a Maypearl, Texas, native, is known for his Red Dirt-country fusion. Micky & the Motorcars, fronted by Micky and Gary Braun of Reckless Kelly fame, continue to build a strong following. Thom Shepherd, a Grammy-nominated songwriter, has penned hits for Blake Shelton and Pat Green.
Will Banister, a traditional country crooner, gained national recognition with a song featured in Clint Eastwood’s Cry Macho. Darrin Morris, a soulful East Texas country performer, has built a growing fanbase. Influenced by legends like Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and George Jones, Tanner Sparks brings a classic country revivalist sound. Cari Hutson & Good Company, based in Austin, blends country, blues, and rock into a unique style. Dallas singer-songwriter Big Joe Walker draws from his deep gospel and country roots to create a dynamic stage presence.
Craig Vaughn of KPUR in Amarillo will serve as the official host and Master of Ceremonies, keeping the energy high throughout the week with exclusive artist interviews and storytelling sessions.
