This frozen holiday attraction will once again be part of the resort’s Hill Country Christmas celebrations, taking place from November 22, 2025, through January 4, 2026. Created by Gaylord Hotels, ICE! has become a beloved holiday tradition at six resorts nationwide, captivating families with its artistry and festive magic.
Kept at a chilly 9 degrees Fahrenheit, ICE! will immerse guests in the whimsical story of Frosty the Snowman™ with massive hand-carved sculptures, eleven walk-through scenes, awe-inspiring passageways, thrilling two-story ice slides, a kids’ peek-a-boo slide, and countless photo-worthy moments. This year’s attraction is brought to life by forty master artisans traveling nearly 7,000 miles from Harbin, China, who will carve 6,700 massive blocks of ice into an extraordinary 20,000-square-foot frozen wonderland over thirty days. Visitors can also watch an artisan create masterpieces during live carving demonstrations, and the experience concludes with a breathtaking Nativity scene made entirely of crystal-clear ice. The holiday magic extends beyond ICE! Into the resort’s Exhibit Ballroom, which transforms into Reindeer Ridge—a 40,000-square-foot hub of festive activities for all ages. Guests can race down Snow Flow Mountain, a multi-lane tubing hill made of real snow, or join in the Snowball Build & Blast game for some friendly competition. Mrs. Claus will return to host her Christmas Traditions experience, reading “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” leading a sing-along of holiday carols, and serving Santa’s favorite cookies and milk. Families can also visit the Gingerbread Decorating Corner to create edible masterpieces and meet Nutmeg, the gingerbread man. The Build-A-Bear Workshop® will be on site, offering guests the chance to create and customize a furry friend complete with outfits, scents, and sounds.
