From Humble Beginnings to a Path of Purpose
Paul’s story begins in a hardworking household led by a single mother raising four children. Growing up in an under-resourced community where college was not often discussed, he felt motivated to break barriers and change the narrative for himself and others.
He started his higher education journey at a local community college, where influential professors encouraged him to broaden his perspective. He later transferred to Texas State University in San Marcos, discovering new opportunities and connecting with people from across the country. This experience expanded his understanding of what was possible beyond his Southside upbringing.
After graduating, Paul entered the nonprofit world and quickly realized he had found his calling. Eight years into his career, he challenged himself further by pursuing a master’s degree. It was during this time that the idea for the Generation Latino Podcast emerged—an outlet designed to uplift stories of individuals navigating success without a blueprint.

Now completing its second season, the Generation Latino Podcast has grown into a community-driven platform that highlights Latino experiences, triumphs, and challenges. Through authentic conversations, Paul has created a space where listeners around the world can connect, learn, and feel inspired.

Paul’s journey has not been without obstacles. Staying motivated during difficult moments has been one of his biggest challenges. Starting something is often easy, he shares, but staying consistent when life continues to evolve requires discipline and heart.
