In partnership with H-E-B, the City of San Antonio’s World Heritage Office is bringing movie magic back to the Southside with the return of the Outdoor Family Film Series at Mission Marquee Plaza, 3100 Roosevelt Ave.
The free series kicks off Thursday, May 15, with a screening of Grease, plus live entertainment by The Wonder Theatre Adult Troupe, a vintage car showcase from Push Rod Classic Car Club, and remarks from District 3 Councilmember Phyllis Viagran and the World Heritage Office.
Running through November 15, the series offers free outdoor films every first and third Saturday and Thursday of the month. Gates open at 7 p.m., with movies starting at dusk. Guests can bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics, with local food trucks available on-site.
