Youth Writing Program

Students who join our writing program will have a chance to become published in Live from the Southside Magazine.

Details of the program:

Local students, in grades 3-college age are invited to become contributing writers to our “Youth Writer” column.

Students can submit anything from poetry to nonfiction family-friendly pieces up to 300 words in a MS or Google doc format. Send up to 4 images in a jpg or png format separately along with submission. Submission deadline is the 15th of each month.

This is a great opportunity for extra credit programs, classroom challenges among students., & journalism classes. Please feel free to contact us so we may discuss this opportunity further, and have your students’ featured in Live from the Southside Magazine.
