Spring is here, and San Antonio has places to fish with the Fin Addicts! Have you thought about a fun way of spending time with the family that doesn’t cost much and has a lot of heartfelt memories to come for those you love? If so, why not come to the community events scheduled for March? Top of the list is Family, Friends & Fishing at Padre Park, hosted by the San Antonio River Authority on March 4th. Ages 5 to 16 participate in an outdoor fishing lesson program and, upon completion, receive a TPWD Angler Certificate stating they went through a basic angler education program teaching stewardship and safety. This is a fun, accessible event you don’t want to miss! For more info, visit www.finaddictangler.org events.
Harlandale High School Fishing Club received their first fishing t-shirts and are excited to fish. They will participate in this year’s Harlandale Cultural Arts Festival and Parade 2023. If you are interested in helping these fine young anglers with their fundraising, please contact us at info@finaddictangler.org.
Fin Addict’s biggest fundraiser, the 5th Annual Dinner & Silent Auction, is March 25th! Help support this important mission by coming to the event banquet. Our unique programs offer many opportunities to children and families of all ages, including military and seniors and, most of all, those less fortunate than others. Our programs help many to experience an activity that is cost-effective, healthy to eat, reduce stress, time spent connecting family and friends, and is something everyone can do to boost self-esteem! Healthy Living! Help us help you! Support our Programs! Learning is half the fun!
