B&N Sports Bar’s first annual BBQ Cook-Off will bring barbecue, live music and free vendor spaces to San Antonio’s Southside on November 14–15, 2026. The two-day event on Roosevelt Avenue gives residents a chance to enjoy local performers and meet small-business owners, while vendors can participate without paying a booth fee.
The cook-off will take place at 3705 Roosevelt Avenue. Organizers are inviting cooking teams, local vendors and residents to help launch what they hope will become an annual neighborhood tradition.
For small-business owners, there’s another reason to take a closer look: vendor booth spaces are being offered at no charge. That gives entrepreneurs an opportunity to introduce their products and services while visitors enjoy the weekend’s food, music and activities.
Raulito will serve as master of ceremonies for much of the weekend and join the barbecue judging panel. Other announced guest judges include La Chismosa, April Monterrosa of Live From The Southside Magazine and Pete Gamboa.
The announced entertainment lineup features Marco Jaime, formerly of Rodeo Band, along with Alejandro Escamilla, Jordan Gauna, Xavier Rendon, Justin Gallegos and Gabe Garcia. Individual performance times were not included in the announcement.
Horseshoes and cornhole will also be available, adding a little friendly competition beyond the barbecue judging.
