Erica Narvaez Elected to Southwest ISD Education Foundation Board

Southside San Antonio entrepreneur and community advocate Erica Narvaez has been elected to serve on the Southwest ISD Education Foundation Board, continuing her long-standing commitment to supporting education and strengthening the community she proudly calls home.

A Southside native, wife, mother of four daughters, and owner of Texas Heart, Narvaez has built her business around creativity, connection, and giving back. Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to investing in the people and organizations that make Southside San Antonio a thriving place to live and grow.

Her connection to Southwest Independent School District is deeply personal. Three of her daughters are graduates of Southwest ISD, and she credits the district with providing meaningful opportunities, encouragement, and experiences that helped shape their success. Inspired by those experiences, Narvaez is passionate about giving back and helping ensure future students have access to the same level of support and opportunity.

In addition to her entrepreneurial background, Narvaez brings experience in education support, business operations, and leadership. She is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management at Texas A&M University–San Antonio, demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth.

As a member of the Southwest ISD Education Foundation Board, Narvaez will work alongside fellow board members to support initiatives that benefit students, educators, and families throughout the district. The foundation plays a vital role in enhancing educational opportunities by fostering partnerships, supporting innovative programs, and investing in student success.

“I am honored to serve on the Southwest ISD Education Foundation Board and give back to the district that has had such a positive impact on my family,” Narvaez said. “I look forward to helping create opportunities that empower students and strengthen our Southside community.”

Narvaez’s appointment reflects her dedication to service and her belief that strong schools create stronger communities. Through her leadership, she hopes to help ensure Southwest ISD students continue to have the resources, encouragement, and opportunities they need to thrive for generations to come.
