Team USA Boxer, and US Army Veteran, Rianna Rios has teamed up with The Pink Berets. “I admire any woman who decides to put on a military uniform and defend this country we live in. I am honored to have been given the opportunity to be an ambassador for The Pink Berets” Rios said about being named The Pink Berets first Ambassador. Rios’s role as an Ambassador is to raise awareness about mental health, VA care access and homelessness issues amongst women veterans. “It is important that women who have served, or are serving now, get the help they need. Together we can make a difference” she said.
Rianna Rios will be in Boerne, TX on Saturday, April 17, 2021, to attend and promote The Pink Berets FREE Self-Defense Course for Women Veterans, Active Duty and First Responders. This Self-Defense course is offered every third Saturday of the month at Grind House Training Facility in Boerne, TX and is completely free of charge to Women Veterans, Active Duty and First Responders (Police, Fire, EMT). Rianna Rios competed for the Army and the United States National Boxing Team during her five years of active-duty service and has won numerous National and International Medals. Rios is currently chasing a world title as a professional boxer.
