Soarion Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of its newest financial center on San Antonio’s Southside, expanding its commitment to community growth and financial empowerment. The Brooks City Base Financial Center, located at 2603 SE Military Drive, 78223, is their eighth location and brings convenient, member-focused banking and accessible financial education closer to Southside residents.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony welcomed Soarion leadership, board members, community partners, educators, and residents. The new financial center offers a modern and welcoming environment where members can open accounts, make deposits and withdrawals, apply for auto and mortgage loans, and access a 24/7 drive-thru ATM. New members can also take advantage of special promotions during the location’s initial months of operation. Beginning next year, Soarion will host free monthly financial literacy workshops in partnership with University Health’s VIDA Center, offering families valuable tools that connect financial wellness with overall health.

“Our Southside community has voiced the need for accessible financial education and trusted banking solutions,” said Ric Ledezma, President and CEO of Soarion Credit Union. “The Brooks City Base Financial Center is a direct response to that need. We are proud to offer this new resource to our members and the military personnel, veterans, and families who make this community so vibrant.”
The new location is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with full lobby service available. For more information about upcoming financial literacy workshops, visit soarion.org.
