Live from the Southside is a “Southside” owned family-friendly informational media business that helps San Antonio residents and visitors find things to do in the South side of San Antonio, surrounding communities, and throughout Texas.
Live From The Southside was officially launched in February of 2019 and became partnered with the South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce in August of 2019. The partnership’s mission it to join forces and bring South side community awareness to residents and visitors.
Live From The Southside was founded and owned by writer and author April Monterrosa. Born and raised on the South side of San Antonio herself, Monterrosa’s writing career began 9 years ago with a niche for travel, small Texas towns, self-care, and inspiring her readers to make time for adventure, self-care and fun.
What’s in store for 2020…
Our goal for 2020 is to continue to work to improve and expand community relationships through promoting positive events, stories, and businesses. We are excited to spread the word about some of our community peers doing some amazing things, fun FREE events, local gems, picturesque spots, and places to venture to outside the South side.
