Esther specializes in repujado, a traditional art form that involves embossing metal, specifically aluminum, by hand. Unlike stamped or machine-produced designs, her work stands out with depth, individuality, and intention. Each piece is carefully shaped and painted, often taking on a stained-glass effect through the unique paints she uses. The result is vibrant, dimensional artwork that feels alive. But beyond technique, what truly defines INSPIRemr Art is its origin.
Her art is born from lived experience. From moments of darkness, from healing, from the ongoing journey of navigating depression. Esther doesn’t separate her art from her story; she embraces it. Every design reflects something deeply personal, making her work not just visually striking but emotionally resonant. It is her voice, her testimony, and her way of reaching others who may be walking similar paths.
Raised on the Southside of San Antonio, Esther is a proud graduate of South San Antonio High School and the University of the Incarnate Word. Her roots in the community remain strong, not only through her identity as an artist but through her commitment to service. She actively supports local initiatives, working closely with the Harlandale Sunshine Pantry and participating in recovery efforts through Hash Vegan Eats. For her, giving back is just as important as creating.
When she’s not creating, Esther finds joy in simple but meaningful moments, spending time with family, exploring the Texas coast, or visiting Garner State Park. These experiences, grounded in connection and nature, continue to fuel her creativity and perspective.
Looking ahead, her goals are rooted in both legacy and impact. She hopes to continue developing her art, uplifting her community, and inspiring others for many years to come, especially as she watches her grandchildren grow. That sense of purpose is woven into everything she does.
INSPIRemr Art is more than a collection of pieces. It’s a movement of resilience. A reminder that even in life’s hardest moments, beauty can be created and shared.
For Esther, art is not just expression. It’s a transformation. And through her work, she invites others to find their own strength, voice, and light.
