Get Ready for Movies by Moonlight, Music with SoundCream Airstream, and Fun All Season Long
Hemisfair, the ultimate summer chill spot in San Antonio, is more than just a location. It’s a community. With Movies by Moonlight every Tuesday in June, Sound Cream’s Sunset Sessions on Thursdays, free fitness events, and top-notch amenities like the Union Pacific Railroad Splash Pad and The Springs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy together.
Every Tuesday evening in June, enjoy classic movies for free at Hemisfair. It’s the perfect summer outing with free parking after 5 p.m. at the City of San Antonio parking facilities and delicious to-go options from local restaurants.

Starting June 6th, every Thursday in June, Hemisfair transforms into a summer dance destination with Sound Cream Sunset Sessions. From 7:30 p.m. onwards, enjoy DJ tunes, splash in the springs, explore local vendors, and picnic in the park. Easy parking and great food and drink options make it a perfect evening.
Hemisfair is a place for everyone, regardless of age or ability. Enjoy the shaded promenades, splash in the Union Pacific Railroad Splash Pad (open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.), and dip your toes in The Springs. Stay active with Yoga on the Great Lawn, Zumba with SA Sports: ACTIVATE, and other fitness events. Look out for special events designed to bring us all together, like a free paleta giveaway on June 7, a watermelon eating competition in July, the city’s largest water blaster fight, and an August Luau to end the summer.
