Good News Pumpkin Patch – 1020 Old Corpus Christi HWY San Antonio Texas 78223 – Open Monday-Friday 1PM-9PM, Saturday 10AM-8PM, Sunday 12PM-8PM. Its FREE to enter the patch, maze, & moon bounce. Hayrides are .50 per person. FREE movies in the patch on Saturday nights. Laser tag every Sunday afternoon from 3PM-7PM in the Big Maze; .50 per person for 15 minutes.
October 5- November 3- Fear Factory– Traders Village- 9333 Southwest Loop 410- Traders Village is a jumbo flea market & midway, starring food, diverse new & used items & local chow in a shaded area. Fear Factory is a run-down factory that has been turned into a haunted house. It is open on weekends in October, from 12PM to 5PM. Tickets are $7.99 each.
October 5- December 1- Corny Maze– Traders Village- 9333 Southwest Loop 410- The Corny Maze is San Antonio’s 1st and only corny maze. The maze is situated on 10 acres and features 3 different trail levels- easy, medium and hard. The Corny Maze is open on weekends in October and November, from 11AM to 6PM on Saturdays and 11AM to 5PM on Sundays. Tickets are $11.99 for ages 3 and older and free for ages 2 and under.
October 18- Mission Monster Mash– Harvey E. Najim Family YMCA- 3122 Roosevelt Avenue- This free event for families is from 6PM to 8PM and features a costume contest, games and more.
October 19- Upside Down 80’s Halloween Party– Southtown Commons- 1150 South Alamo Street- From 7PM to 1AM- Join a Stanger Things, the popular sci-fi, horror Netflix television series, theme Halloween party. General admission tickets are $7.00 each.
October 19 & 20- Palomino Pumpkin Patch – Palo Alto College – 10AM-2PM, FREE and open to the public. Pumpkin sale, hay maze, face painting, crafts, and games. For more info, visit alamo.edu/pac/pumpkin-patch.
October 20- Boo Bash– Traders Village- 9333 Southwest Loop 410- This free event for kids is from 12:30PM to 4:30PM and features Halloween activities, a Bootastic Parade, live musical entertainment and trick-or-treating.
October 20- San Antonio Storytellers Spooky Tales Concert– Confluence Park- 310 West Mitchell Street- Confluence Park is a green space offering landscaped hike & bike paths by the river, native plants & unique structures. This 2nd annual free event, for the whole family, is from 6:30PM to 8:30PM and features “Spooky Stories to Chill Your Bones.”
October 25- 1st Annual Halloween & Costume Ride– The Aquaduck Beer Garden- 9214 Espada Road- This event starts at 6:30PM and features an evening filled with a costume contest, food trucks, thrills and treats. After the ride, local rock artist Ruben V will perform live on stage.
October 25- Pumpkin Patch – The Anderson at Brooks – 7938 City Base Landing – Games, snacks, prizes, and family fun. Open to the public from 6PM-8PM.
October 26- Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest– 4 Paws Animal Hospital- 3630 Southeast Military Drive- This event is free to enter and is from 11:30AM to 3PM. Prizes are awarded for Best Pet Costumes in 3 categories: small breed, large breed and group.
October 26- Halloween Party– Royal Palace Ballroom- 3506 Southwest Military Drive- This Halloween event is from 7PM to Midnight and features live music by Bandango with special guest Rudy T., a Chicano rock ‘n’ roll pioneer. Tickets are $15 per person.
October 26- Primo Halloween Spooktacular– The Aquaduck Beer Garden- 9214 Espada Road- This inaugural event starts at 8PM and features a costume contest, arts & crafts vendors, food trucks and live music from the Latin rock band Mexicana & The Monster Squad, as well as the Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band Venice Queen.
October 26- A Spooktacular Halloween- Villa Finale Museum & Gardens- 401 King William Street- Villa Finale Museum & Gardens provides tours of an Italianate mansion on 1.5 acres showcasing fine & decorative artwork & Southern gardens. This event, for kids ages 3-12, is from 3:30PM to 6PM and features a costume contest, a screaming contest, snacks and treats, Halloween-themed games and more.
October 31- Halloween at The Good Kind Southtown– 1127 South St. Mary’s Street- The Good Kind is a modern, counter-serve eatery inside the Bottling Dept Food Hall offering healthy sandwiches & bowls. This free event for families is from 3PM to 6PM and features food and drink specials, games and a spooky movie.
October 31- Halloween Event for Kids– Lavaca Studios- 1103B South Presa Street- This free event, which runs from 6PM to 9PM, features a fun night of candy, coloring and screen printing.
October 31- Spooklandia Halloween Event– PicaPica Plaza- 910 Southeast Military Drive- PicaPica Plaza is a Latin American-style mall boasting salons, fast-food stalls & diverse shops, plus amusement rides. This free event, for all ages, is from 4PM to 7PM and features a costume contest, games and indoor trick-or-treating.
