If you’re looking for ways to support youth sports in San Antonio, mark your calendar for Saturday, June 14, 2025. The Flamingo Club, a leading youth golf program in South Texas, will host its annual Award Celebration Ceremony from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Mission Del Lago Golf Course (1250 Mission Grande, San Antonio, TX 78221).
This inspiring event will honor the 2025 class of Flamingo Club members—young golfers ages 6 to 12 from across the Greater San Antonio area. These future athletes will be recognized for their passion, dedication, and commitment to golf.
What Awardees Will Receive
Each recognized participant will receive:

A brand-new, custom-sized set of golf clubs

Golf apparel and accessories

A Flamingo Club membership providing access to participating golf courses in the San Antonio area
Celebrating Growth and Major Milestones
This year marks a major milestone for the program. With the addition of the 2025 inductees, the Flamingo Club will have awarded more than $40,000 in equipment and opportunities, impacting a total of 91 local youth since the program’s inception.
“This isn’t just about learning to play golf. It’s about confidence, character, and opening doors,” said Ray Garza, Program Director of the Flamingo Club.

Local community leaders and supporters are invited to attend and participate in this celebration. The event will feature guest speakers, award presentations, and a hands-on clinic to encourage and educate the young golfers.
