San Antonio Brick Convention is bringing a weekend of LEGO displays and hands-on building to Freeman Expo Hall on October 31–November 1, 2026. The event marks the convention organizer’s first visit to San Antonio.

According to the announcement, more than two million LEGO bricks will fill an event spanning over 30,000 square feet. Visitors can explore creations by professional artists and local fan builders, meet artists, and watch live builds.
There will also be opportunities to build. Brick Pits provide loose bricks for visitors to create with, while the Castle Build Zone invites fans to make medieval-inspired designs. A Star Wars Zone and a gallery of fan-made models add more displays to explore.
Vendors will offer merchandise, new and retired sets, and hard-to-find items. The mix of exhibits, shopping, and activities makes the event an option for families and longtime collectors.
The convention also has a charitable purpose. A portion of proceeds will support Build Smiles Foundation, an all-volunteer nonprofit that purchases new LEGO sets for children in need during the holidays.
Organizer Greyson J. Riley began organizing LEGO fan conventions as a teenager. His goal for the San Antonio event is to show the different possibilities people can explore through building. Brick Convention is an independent fan event and is not organized by the LEGO Group.
