San Antonio will welcome the inaugural National Latina Day on August 20 and 21, 2026, bringing Latina leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, mentors, artists and community builders together for two days centered on leadership, culture, visibility and meaningful connections.
Built around the message “One Room. One Voice. One Movement,” National Latina Day is designed to create a space where Latinas can connect, learn from one another, build relationships and celebrate the impact women are making in business, leadership and their communities.
The experience begins Thursday, August 20, with the Spotlight Experience at La Honky Tonk, located at 909 Broadway in San Antonio. The evening will feature live music, entertainment, networking and opportunities for attendees to connect in a celebratory setting.
On Friday, August 21, National Latina Day continues at Norris Conference Centers San Antonio, located at 618 Northwest Loop 410, Suite 207. The main conference will include keynotes, panels, mentorship opportunities and a vendor marketplace.
The founding year brings together an impressive lineup of speakers and community leaders, including Bexar County Clerk Lucy Adame-Clark, Martha Flores, Priscilla Rivera, Marsha Nelson, PhD, Maryam Pirband and Live From The Southside Founder and Publisher April Monterrosa, with additional voices participating throughout the two-day experience.
Thursday evening will also showcase San Antonio’s culture and music with performers including Ram Herrera, Shelly Lares, Savannah V, Alicia C, Anikka, Rev Ray, Sabrina Estevez, Belén Ruby and Angel Miranda.
National Latina Day is centered on a simple message: community, not competition. The gathering creates an opportunity for women at different stages of their careers, businesses and personal journeys to share a room, exchange ideas and make connections that can continue long after the event ends.

National Latina Day was founded by Dolores “Loli” Alvarez Castilla, who created the event to give Latinas a national stage centered on community rather than competition, bringing leadership, culture and celebration together in one space. Co-Founder and Experience Producer Lize Herrera helps bring that vision to life through the two-day experience, Spotlight Experience programming and partnerships that are shaping the inaugural celebration.
