San Antonio Latina Legacy is a dedicated storytelling section of Live From The Southside Magazine, founded by Publisher April Monterrosa and community advocate Irene Chavez.
The San Antonio Latina Legacy mission exists to elevate, document, and preserve the voices of Latina women in San Antonio.
We honor Latina leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, public servants, and trailblazers shaping San Antonio’s cultural, political, and business landscape. Through intentional editorial features, we preserve and elevate the voices of women whose leadership defines our city, past, present, and future.
As part of the established Live From The Southside Magazine media platform, these stories are published, distributed, and archived across print, digital, newsletter, and social channels — reaching readers throughout San Antonio, across Texas, and nationally.
