Therefore, San Antonio Latina Legacy serves as both a tribute and a living archive. It uplifts legacy stories while also creating space for emerging voices.
Founded by April Monterrosa and Irene Chavez, the initiative is rooted in community and culture. It is also rooted in the belief that Latina stories deserve to be seen, heard, and honored.
As a sister online initiative, San Antonio Latina Legacy collaborates with Live From The Southside Magazine to share powerful Latina stories across digital and print platforms, extending their reach to national and global audiences.
