Live From The Southside is currently hiring Sales Representatives to help connect local businesses, nonprofits, and organizations with affordable advertising and promotional opportunities.
This beginner-friendly, flexible, commission-based sales position is ideal for individuals looking to earn extra income while supporting the San Antonio community. No prior sales experience is required. Training, scripts, and sales tools are provided.
Sales Representative Role Overview
As a Sales Representative, you will contact local businesses, nonprofits, and service providers in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. You will introduce simple, low-cost marketing options, starting with our Community Connect Directory. You will explain the value of local media exposure using a no-pressure, relationship-based approach and track your outreach and sales using a shared system.
Products and Services You’ll Sell
You will promote Community Connect Directory listings, social media advertising, newsletter features, digital and print magazine advertising, radio and media exposure, and multi-month marketing packages designed for local businesses and organizations.
Commission and Pay Structure
This is a commission-only sales role with a clear pay structure. Sales Representatives earn $10 for each Community Connect Directory listing sold, 15% commission on individual marketing services, and 10% commission on bundled packages and magazine advertising. Commission is paid after the client’s invoice is paid in full.
