MindTravel SilentWalk at the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park

On March 11th, 2020 from 6 – 8 pm, people from all over San Antonio met at the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park to experience a musical journey into mindfulness led by composer and pianist Hidary. Here’s the link to the event that was shared on Facebook with all the details: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mindtravel-silentwalk-in-san-antonio-tx-tickets-93624275729

At the event, we had the opportunity to contribute to The MindTravel Foundation and purchase MindTravel Music to help support their continued commitment to bringing free and low-cost music experience to communities across the globe.

After a short introduction and intention-setting, our group ventured forth on a guided journey through the stunning and historically rich grounds of the San Antonio Missions National Park for a contemplative and powerful creative journey–all while enveloped in the transcendent sounds of the beautiful, original MindTravel compositions.

The evocative, improvisational piano music ignites freedom and expansiveness that amplifies the healing and inspirational power of being surrounded by beauty. The MindTravel SilentHike Tour will be in Austin on Thursday, March 12th from 6:30pm -8:30pm and Dallas on Monday, March 16th, from 6pm-8pm. More information about MindTravel:

Last summer, people all over America took musical trips into mindfulness.  But not just in a quiet space at home alone. They took to beaches, bridges, gardens, and museums to find purpose and connection within a community of like-minded people, all thanks to MindTravel experiences created by composer, concert pianist and meditation expert Murray Hidary. This March kicks off the 70-City MindTravel SilentHike Tour Across North America in 2020.

MindTravel is a transformative musical meditation most often practiced in motion. During the sessions, MindTravelers will wear wireless headphones and embark on a journey with musical and verbal guidance from Hidary.

All the components – music, words, silence, visual cues – work synergistically to help participants connect with themselves and the world around them. See Hidary’s recent appearance on TV’s “The Doctors” here:  https://www.thedoctorstv.com/articles/can-being-out-in-nature-help-with-grief
