Born in Galveston, Texas, Juan was raised in the Clute area until the age of 12, when his family relocated to San Antonio. That move became a defining chapter in his life. Today, he resides on the Southwest Side of San Antonio, a community that continues to influence both his personal values and professional vision.
Juan’s work ethic began early. At age 12, he began painting houses with his stepfather and selling products at flea markets alongside his brother. From jewelry cleaners to hair straighteners, those early experiences taught him how to communicate, adapt, and hustle—skills that would later become central to his success in business.
After earning his GED, Juan joined the Allstate Call Center, marking the beginning of his career in the insurance industry. What started as a job quickly became a passion. Licensed since 2014, Juan discovered fulfillment in helping individuals and business owners protect what matters most. In 2025, he decided to become self-employed and launched Castaneda Integrated Services. Tired of building for others, Juan chose to invest in himself and build his own legacy.
One of the most profound challenges in Juan’s life was losing his mother at the age of 17. Her absence is felt at every major milestone, yet her influence is evident in how he conducts himself—with empathy, accountability, and respect for others. That loss shaped his resilience and strengthened his commitment to meaningful relationships.
Along his journey, Juan has encountered both difficult experiences and powerful connections. While not every relationship was positive, each lesson helped him better identify healthy, productive partnerships. He is deeply grateful for the people he has met along the way and the stories he hears from clients who have overcome adversity and achieved personal victories.
Above all professional accomplishments, Juan is most proud of his 16-year relationship with his partner. Their connection, built on mutual support and understanding, grounds him through both success and setbacks. Having someone who encourages his ambitions and allows room for both failure and growth has been instrumental in his journey.
Juan describes himself as kind, resilient, and straightforward, always mindful of how he delivers his words. A Pisces by nature, he compares himself to water—calm and steady, yet capable of becoming powerful when circumstances demand it.
Through Castaneda Integrated Services, Juan offers Auto, Home, and Commercial insurance solutions. He also serves as a Marketing Manager at Lemonade Promo, providing branded promotional products and swag for businesses seeking to expand their visibility.
Outside of business, Juan has a creative side that surprises many; he loves writing poetry. He believes words carry the power to build or break relationships, spark movements, and create lasting change. Writing allows him to reflect and connect more deeply.
Juan’s advice to others is simple yet powerful: “Strike while the iron is hot. Seize the moment and trust your gut. Your intuition knows what your heart and soul need, and sometimes that means taking a leap of faith.”
