Texas-born and raised, Jenny B has spent the last eight years building her career as a professional singer and entertainer, making waves in the Tejano music scene. Now, she’s reaching a major milestone, performing the National Anthem for the NFL Carolina Panthers on Sunday, October 5. This honor marks a huge achievement in her career and shines a spotlight on the Tejano community.
Music has always been part of Jenny’s life. Her grandfather performed in a trio band in the 1960s, and her uncles and father were
part of the golden Tejano era in the 1990s with Los Agues. Surrounded by music, it was only natural for Jenny to follow in their footsteps and create her own legacy.
She began her professional journey in pop and EDM, but three years ago, she crossed over to Tejano—the genre she grew up with, where she has made her mark as a rising artist. Balancing her role as a wife, mother of two, full-time general contractor, and performer has been challenging. Still, Jenny describes it as “the toughest yet most rewarding thing I have ever experienced.”
What sets Jenny apart is her authenticity. In today’s social media-driven world, she is proud of being herself, rather than trying to fit a mold. “I’m most proud that I’m able to be myself and be comfortable with who I am,” she says. Her advice to others is simple: “Don’t be a cookie-cutter version of what the world thinks you should be. BE YOU.”
Performing the National Anthem at an NFL game is a dream come true for Jenny. “This is a huge honor and opportunity, not just for me, but for the Tejano community,” she says. It’s a chance to share her talent on a national stage while representing her culture and inspiring others to follow their dreams.
Jenny is always open to collaborations and connecting with other artists. You can reach her at officiallyjennyb@gmail.com, or follow her journey on social media:
