San Antonio Charter Moms Hosts School Discovery Day at Hemisfair

Wondering what school options your student has for the 2025- 2026 school year? Join the San Antonio Charter Moms team and meet with more than 40 schools and education-based organizations during School Discovery Day at Hemisfair to find the perfect school for your child and enjoy a FREE day at Yanaguana Gardens at Hemisfair. School models represented at the event include public charter schools, in-district charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, preschools, and homeschooling. Also, families will be able to investigate many learning models, including child-centered learning, classical education, STEM, dual language, college and career readiness, culturally responsive schools, functional needs schools, and credit recovery schools.

In the heart of San Antonio, Yanaguana Gardens at Hemisfair boasts fantastic amenities including a splash pad, sand play area, table games, swings, and climbing structures. Make sure to stop in to grab a snack from one of the area restaurants as well!  In addition to exploring Hemisfair, guests can enjoy live sets by the young DJs from The AM Project and a mobile petting zoo from Once in a Wild.
