<p>Trying to navigate through the websites of school choices and recommendations on social media platforms can feel overwhelming. School Discovery Network (Formerly San Antonio Charter Moms) hosts School Discovery Day to let you meet these schools face to face in one place. Join School Discovery Network  at the Yanaguana Garden in Hemisfair on Saturday, March 7th from 11AM – 2PM to meet representatives from over 40 top San Antonio schools while enjoying the great outdoors. The event allows families to ask questions, get on interest lists, and learn about the application process and deadlines for enrollment season. Additionally, families can receive hands-on guidance from the School Discovery Network team on navigating the nonprofit’s online tools and resources designed to simplify the search and application process. There will be a wide range of school models represented at each event including open enrollment public charter schools, in-district charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, homeschooling, microschools and early childhood education programs. Staff from these schools will be ready to answer questions about what learning models they offer and what makes their school unique. Organizations like the American Federation for Children and Odyssey (the state’s official technology partner for TEFA aka school vouchers) can assist with questions about affordability and private school choice. Guests can also enjoy the amenities of Yanaguana Garden like the sand pit, splash pad, table games, swings, climbing structures, and more. Come for the information, stay for the fun!
