Love is in the air in downtown San Antonio! 💕 Bexar County Clerk Hon. Lucy Adame-Clark is continuing a beloved tradition by offering free Valentine’s Day wedding ceremonies at the historic Bexar County Courthouse. Couples looking for a meaningful, memorable, and budget-friendly way to say “I do” are invited to celebrate on February 13 and 14, 2026.
These mass wedding ceremonies will take place on the north steps of the Bexar County Courthouse, located at 100 Dolorosa St., San Antonio, Texas 78205, and are open to all eligible couples.
Valentine’s Day Wedding Schedule
The Valentine’s celebration spans two days and includes music, dancing, and community festivities:

Newlywed Block Party hosted by the Main Plaza Conservancy on Main Plaza grounds

The United States Postal Service will unveil the 2026 Love Stamp, with music by Savannah V. and a special guest
Cost and Community Support
While the wedding ceremonies are completely free, couples are encouraged to make a suggested $20 donation to support the Bexar County Family Justice Center.

Marriage License Requirements
Couples must obtain a marriage license at least 72 hours prior to their selected ceremony, unless one of the following applies:

One applicant is active-duty U.S. military

The couple completes a Texas-approved premarital education course
-
A judge waives the waiting period for good cause
