The Academy of Tejano Music has officially announced La Sexta Entrega de los Premios Tejano Mundial 2026, set to take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the San Antonio Shrine Auditorium. This highly anticipated celebration of Tejano music will begin with a star-studded Red Carpet at 5 PM, followed by the prestigious awards ceremony at 7 PM. Premios Tejano Mundial stands as the premier celebration of Tejano music, honoring the icons who built the genre, the rising stars shaping its future, and every artist contributing to its powerful cultural impact. Fans will once again play a major role by voting in marquee categories, including Entertainer of the Year, New Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year (Homenaje). Academy members and committees will select the winners for additional industry categories.
Nominations are open through December 31, 2025, and fan voting will take place January 6–16, 2026.
