They say “walk a mile in someone else’s shoes”, but for the Centro Ambassadors, it’s often miles every single day. Now, thanks to a new partnership between Centro San Antonio and San Antonio Shoemakers (SAS), those miles will be taken in comfort and quality.
Centro San Antonio has officially partnered with SAS to provide new, high-quality footwear for its Ambassador team, enhancing the experience of those who serve on the front lines of downtown every day.
Centro Ambassadors deliver year-round clean, safe, maintenance, and hospitality services throughout the downtown Public Improvement District (PID). Their work requires constant movement, walking miles each day to ensure downtown remains welcoming, vibrant, and well-maintained for residents and visitors alike.
Through this partnership, SAS will equip Ambassadors with handcrafted footwear designed for durability, comfort, and long-lasting performance, supporting the physical demands of a role that keeps downtown running.

SAS was on-site at the Centro Ambassador headquarters on Thursday, April 2, for custom fittings and distribution as Ambassadors received their new shoes.
