$22,500 in Scholarships awarded to SAISD High School Students

C.H. Guenther & Son, LLC (CHG) celebrated 18 years of awarding 15 deserving seniors graduating from 13 schools within the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD). These college bound students received $1,500 in scholarships during an awards luncheon at noon on Wednesday, May 22, at the C. H. Guenther & Son Corporate Headquarters.

Through this scholarship program, which began as part of the company’s 150th anniversary celebration in 2001, C.H. Guenther has provided more than $400,000 in scholarship funds to help students with college expenses, including this year.

The C. H. Guenther & Son LLC scholarship program requires that students maintain a “B” average, have a 90 percent attendance record and participate in school, extracurricular and community activities.
