Southside Professionals Participated in Career Day at Harris Middle School

Joel C. Harris Middle School held a career day for students and had an outstanding turnout from the community. Joel C. Harris Middle School develops inquiring, knowledgeable, caring learners and leaders who are mindful of intercultural connections. Their students become contributing members of their communities, building a better world. Harris is located at 325 Pruitt Avenue, on the Southside of San Antonio, TX 78204 in the San Antonio Independent School District.

Art Teacher Denise Rodriguez is in charge of this event and stated that, “We decided to do this event because our kids deserve the opportunity to see different careers, to know that there are options out there for them.  This option gives them the opportunity to give them insight into careers that they might not have thought about before.”
