South San Antonio Education Foundation Golf Tournament

On Saturday, November 21, 2020, the South San Antonio Independent School District Educational Foundation (South San Foundation) will be hosting the 11th Annual charity Golf Tournament at the Mission Del Lago Golf Course located at 1250 Mission Grande San Antonio, TX  78221.

Foundation President Darrell C. Balderrama stated, “This Foundation helps to raise funds to support students and the South San community. This tournament is the principal fundraiser for us to raise funds to help with scholarships for graduating seniors. Over the past 10 years the Foundation had awarded over 100,000 dollars in scholarships. And we hope to encourage all South San Alumni to come out and join us on the green for a good cause.” said Balderrama. Registration is $125.00 per player and can be paid directly on their website. The foundation is also looking for corporate sponsorships to assist with the underwriting of the golf tournament and for participation in the tournament and/or sponsoring a team(s) of golfers and/or providing/donating items for the silent auction. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization whose purpose is to foster community involvement in innovative educational programs and other resources to provide enrichment to the students of the South San Antonio Independent School District including but not limited to, scholarships.
