The Resurgence of Teens on a Mission is happening 6/1/2025!
The fourth in the series which was interrupted by the 2020 pandemic is coming back better than ever!

Teens on a Mission is a vibrant music and arts event showcasing the talents of local teen bands, artists, and vendors. We’re honoring the Teen Music and Art Culture to showcase creativity, self-expression, and the entrepreneurial spirit of young talent. By featuring live performances from teen bands and offering hands-on workshops for aspiring artists and vendors this initiative fosters an environment where young creators can shine and grow.

This event is taking place at one of San Antonio’s newest music venues, Rah Rah Room located at 6322 San Pedro Ave, 78216.

OTHER HAPPENINGS THROUGHOUT THE DAY:
~San Antonio TEEN ARTISTS works will be hung and priced to sell in a gallery atmosphere and that will be led and curated by San Antonio professional Artists: Karl Lubbering and Zan Lee Duroy.
**CALL FOR ARTISTS…LIMITED SPOTS! Age: 13-19 yrs old.**
Entries are on a first come first serve basis once the application is returned properly filled & signed showing the youth is committed to the full rules and criteria for submission. Please email [email protected] for an artist application.

San Antonio TEEN VENDORS will set up tables to sell crafts they created with their own skills. Professional vendor, Tabitha Rogers will lead the vendors and help them create a pro table.

**ALL Artists and Vendors will have to commit to a workshop. 

VENDORS: Sunday, May 18; 12-1:30pm  ARTISTS: Sunday, May 18; 2-3:30pm

SAN ANTONIO YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS are invited to set up community outreach tables that cater to the youth/teen demographics offering information about services, age appropriate information sheets, as well having giveaways.

FREE WORKSHOPS FOR AGES 13-19:
-TOTE BAG SILK SCREENING WORKSHOP led by Marla Vee and Adam Stafford of Guru Graphics- attendees will get to learn how to silk screen throughout the day. They will learn on a take-home tote bag with either the High Voltage Music Program or Teens on a Mission logo. We also invite those that want to bring their own tote bag to screen on to do so.
-BUTTON MAKING WORKSHOP led by Becca Najera- attendees will get to learn how to use a button maker while assembling a button with either the High Voltage Music Program or Teens on a Mission logo. We invite those that want to bring a personal photo cut 2-1/2″ round to do so, as well.

  • MORE STUFF:
    RAFFLES– San Antonio stores and businesses are being requested to donate raffle prizes to include an electric guitar, skateboard(s), record store gift certificates, Peter Piper Pizza Gift Certificates, a bike, and much 6more!
    Merchandise–There will be special event t-shirts, High Voltage & Teens on a Mission tees, event posters and other merch for sale.
    Food– The Rah Rah Room kitchen will be open serving a special event menu to purchase from include: burgers, gourmet hot dogs from Dog Fathers, fries, a taco basket and vegan options.
    Drinks for UNDER 21-water, soda, juices.
    Drinks for over 21+ full bar.

Teens on a Mission pre-sell early bird $10. discount tickets until May 31, 2025.
Day of show June 1 ticket $15.
BONUS: Family or group bundle discount 4 for $30.
GIVE BACK OPTION – FREE TICKETS FOR TEENS: If you would like to donate some purchased tickets for teens that cannot afford the event, please pre-pay and add amount of donated entries and we will keep a roster of the FREE TICKETS FOR TEENS.
Note: All Veterans and active Military enter for FREE.
All Seniors 65+ enter for FREE.
