Austin-based Deep Eddy Vodka is shaking up cocktail hour with the nationwide launch of it’s Espresso Vodka, a new flavor made with real espresso and designed to make one of today’s most popular cocktails easier to enjoy at home.
The new release follows a limited Austin launch in November that quickly sold out. Deep Eddy Espresso Vodka is now rolling out nationwide wherever Deep Eddy products are sold.
Crafted in small batches, Deep Eddy Espresso combines real espresso with the brand’s signature 10-times distilled, 80-proof vodka. The flavor blends bold roasted espresso with notes of creamy vanilla and toasted caramel for a smooth finish.
It also marks the brand’s first non-fruit flavor innovation since Deep Eddy introduced Sweet Tea Vodka in 2010.
Shake, Pour and Enjoy
Deep Eddy Espresso Vodka can be served in an espresso martini, enjoyed chilled as a shot, or mixed into coffee-inspired cocktails. Here are a few recipes from Deep Eddy to try:
Espresso Martini
2.5 oz. DE Espresso Vodka
Add the vodka to a shaker with ice. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, and enjoy.
Espresso Martini Shot
1.5 oz. DE Espresso Vodka
Chill the vodka, pour into a shot glass, and serve.
White Russian
1.5 oz. DE Espresso Vodka
0.5 oz. vanilla vodka
1 oz. half-and-half
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake, strain, and serve.
Austin Affogato
2 oz. DE Espresso Vodka
0.5 oz. Carolans Irish Cream
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Add the vodka, Irish cream, vanilla ice cream, and ice to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into a chilled rocks glass or stemmed cocktail glass and finish with a light dusting of cocoa powder.
Deep Eddy Espresso Vodka is available in 50ml, 100ml, 375ml, 750ml, 1L and 1.75L sizes. The suggested retail price for a 750ml bottle is $16.99.
