Have you ever read a book that you could not stop reading? Well if so, you’re not alone. One of the books I have is “Baby-sitters Little Sister: Karen’s Witch”. The author of the book is Ann M. Martin.

Part of the reason why it is my favorite book is because there are a lot of lessons learned and a lot of adventures because Karen is a rule breaker. For example, Karen is not supposed to spy on the neighbors, but Karen still spies on the neighbor’s. Whenever Karen spies on the neighbors, she gets caught. Karen one time said ”Well, Morbidda Destiny put two spells on Bobo three times this week!”

The other reason why I love “Baby-sitters Little Sister Karen’s Witch” is because I love the character Karen. She is very fierce, kind, loving, sweet, and once you get to know her you can see that she really is all of these things. She’s also very determined about anything that applies.

In conclusion, I personally think that “Baby-Sitter Little Sister: Karen’s Witch” is the best book, and I hope you get a chance to read it too!

Have you ever read the book “A Bad Case of Stripes” from David Shannon? I read this book about 2 years ago, and it has been my favorite since then. I’ve read it so many times that I know the story by memory!

The reason I love this book is because the book is very colorful! It has so many patterns and colors, and it’s very bright. The main character Camilla’s body has turned all these colors and patterns but she doesn’t know why. The book looked like a fantasy!

I also love the book so much because the book comes with so many illustrations! I like the illustrations because there are so many on every page and they are very detailed.

The book can also be in touch with reality because it is about Camilla loving lima beans, but if she eats them kids will think she’s weird, and Camilla wants to fit in.  The same situation could happen to other kids in real life.

In conclusion, the book is great for kids with all the colors, patterns, and illustrations! If you have never read this book, try to find sometime to read it!

So my favorite book is…Diary Of A Wimpy Kid! What I love about the book is that it’s extremely funny. The author is Jeff Kinney. I really like his Diary Of A Wimpy Kid books. Here are some of my favorite things I like about the book.

One thing I like is that it is relatable. Kids my age can relate to the changes and the nervousness of becoming a middle schooler. Another thing I like are the characters. I think they are really hilarious, especially Rowley Jefferson.  My favorite part of the book is when Rowley sings “Don’t Stop Make It Pop.” It’s so funny to me. My favorite characters are Rowley Jefferson, Frank Heffley, and Rowley’s mom. These characters stand out the most to me.  Also, the pictures of the characters in the book are so goofy. It’s like it matches them.

If you want to learn more about the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid go to your local library. Or you could just go to the library that’s at your school. If you want to know what kind of book it is, this might be helpful. Diary Of A Wimpy Kid is a realistic fiction novel. There’s a movie too if you want to watch it. The actors in the movie match the characters from the book. Whichever you choose, I know you will enjoy it!

Have you ever heard or read “A Bad Case of Stripes” by David Shannon?  If you haven’t, you might want to hear what this book is about. It is one of my favorite books and it might become one of yours too.

This astonishing book has colorful illustrations. For example, The main character, Camila Cream, changed into the color of an American flag. She also turned the colors of a rainbow. That part is also on the front cover if you didn’t know.

The lesson in this book is very creative and took a big part of my interest. Camila Cream heard girls say they don’t like lima beans. Camila liked lima beans, but she wanted to be like them. So Camila pretended to hate them. Unexpectedly, at the end of the story a person comes to help. But in order for Camila to get better she has to eat lima bean. Sadly, Camila Cream refuses. As soon as the person left she admitted she liked lima beans and gladly ate them. After that, everything turned back to normal for her.

It was the author named David Shannon  who came up with this amazing book. I’m pretty sure it’s because he liked lima beans, so he made a good book including something he liked, and he made it so relevant to our lives. I hope you have a chance to check it out!
